Advantages of C#

C# is an object-oriented language used in the design of applications under the Microsoft .NET system. C# builds upon the powerful languages C and C++ by supporting direct access to the Microsoft .NET classes and web-based services such as XML and SOAP. Since being rolled out in 2000, C# has been an integral part of the .NET family and has been widely adapted by web developers. C# follows the same priorities as the Microsoft .NET system itself - to allow greater interactivity between different web and traditionally non-web programming languages for the benefit of the programmer.
